The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Adult Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF) is designed for people who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic life support (BLS) when dealing with an emergency situation which may also involve using a defibrillator (AED).
The qualification and learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of the Resuscitation Council (UK) and a distinguished panel of experts in emergency medical care.
Successful Learners will develop the practical competencies needed to provide BLS and automated external defibrillation to a casualty.
