Within the necessary criteria to be considered for a license all properties intended to be used as short-term let are required to have a fire risk assessment carried out on them.
Similarly, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 in England and Wales, holiday lets which are considered commercial premises require a fire risk assessment.
